| | Hi I'm New | Hey y'all from the heartland of the USA I am like so many others in this group, I have been out of modeling for a number of years (20) and am getting back into it. I have gathered together quite a conglomeration of kits over the last few years from E-bay, graigslist, as well as, online hobby shoppes, now numbering in the hundreds. My town does not have anything close to a decent hobby shoppe, the last one closed down almost 20 years ago, hence my loss of interest in the hobby. However, I now have two youngsters, 6 and 8, in whom I am trying to develop an interest in the hobby, tying in a history lessons, with each kit WE assemble together. Our interests, as one might imagine with these two wonderful additions to the group psyche, are quite eclectic, ranging from all sorts of transportation (from various eras), through structures, to scale figures. My personal favorite is race cars from the Canadian/American and the USRRC racing series during the 1960's and 70's, in 1/20th scale or larger, as it lends to greater detail. In particular the fantastic cars developed by Bruce McLaren and Jim Hall, both are two of my personal heroes. Anyway, see y'all in the funny papers! |

Read your post and thought you might these pictures taken from work. They are a couple of years old but as with our tradition, when a new shape is launched, it is in the colours of Bruce's original scheme.
