Hello from a newbie

Hi my Name is Chris, and I am into building 1/72nd scale modern U.S Marines aircraft and vehicles and Soviet/Russian aircraft and vehicles.
I also like to build my own conversions of aircraft and vehicles, the most recent being a single seat F-84, into a twin seat turbo prop counter insurgency aircraft with my own design of cannon pods and FLIR turret. I have also converted small twin turbo prop passenger aircraft into ELINT and COIN patrol aircraft.

Hi Chris and a warm welcome to Scale Models. There are plenty of aircraft modellers on here so you are certainly in good company but have a good browse around at some of the other stuff as well, you might find something else to stimulate your interest.

Most of all enjoy your time here and feel free to show us something of what you do as well.

Cheers Bunkerbarge, I also build US Marine armoured vehicles and russian ones also.I like the rugged simplicity of the Soviet vehicles. I tried to download some pictures last night but the powers that be said I didn't have the right "token" or something
