Hi,
I've joined to gather more information on the hobby of building scale plastic models. My preference so far has been military fighter aircraft, either modern jets or WWII, and on occasion automobiles of particular interest to me.
Although I got exposure to model building as a kid, I haven't touched the hobby until about 6 months ago. I wanted to introduce building models to my own son and see if I can find something other then video games to catch his interest. I first built a few kits of various types to get familiar with the techniques I'd need to pass on. From the modest successes of those kits, I've become hooked on this stuff.
To date, I have built about seven aircraft and three cars. My most recent effort was a Hasagawa 1/48 F-4E. Here are a few photos so you can get an idea from where I'm coming from.
