The George Bush code case ( From the files at the White House ).

Message From Osama Bin Laden
after numerous rounds of: "We don't even know if Osama is still alive,"Osama himself decided to send George Bush a letter in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game. Bush opened
the letter and it appeared to contain a coded message:
370HSSV-0773H Bush was even more baffled than usual, so he sent it to Condi Rice.Condi and her aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the FBI.
No one could solve it so it went to the CIA, then to NSA.
With no clue as to its meaning, they eventually asked a
mathematician from Harvard University to decipher the code. The mathematician looked at the code for a couple of minutes and replied:
"Tell the President he's holding the message upside down."

*** There must be more to this ? A long while ago we had a union rep who went to the office to negotiate our wages,on the desk was a sheet of paper with our wage structure, plus the amount that management were prepared to give us,bearing in mind the paper would have to be read upside down by the rep,he reported back to us all and reeled off everything on that paper !!
It was the uncanny accuracy,is there something in peoples brains that make some of them more adept at such things ?
I have to admit, first time round I did not spot the inverted code.Did anyone else ?

apologies

hello all, sorry to say but yes I did see it without having to print off and turn upside down. I'll put it down to too many years as a sales-rep and being inquisitive (nosey) about what others are up to and what the competition were up to too.

Now I've lit the fuse

cheers

Jim
