Our Tribute to a very funny man-Ronnie Barker.

This seemed to be an appropiate section to pay tribute to one of the best comedians in recent years,Ronnie Barker sadly passed away on 4th October 2005 after a long illness, there cannot be many of us who have not been in stitches laughing at his very funny jokes on television,he both lived and acted the various parts, many a dull day has lifted us with his unique raport.
As they say they do not make them like Ronnie any more,he came from a period when a comedians job was very difficult, and once more to survive right into the late nineties speaks volumes.
Does anyone remember a short film that Ronnie did called 'Futtocks Hall' ? well not a word was spoken just mumbles and grunts, his body language did the rest as all of the cinema burst out laughing !
Rest in peace Ronnie and we hope that you will continue to amuse the angels as well as you did here on earth.

He will be sadly missed, I remember when he announced his retirement, I was only a kid and it was devastating news, Porridge was and still is one of the best sitcoms ever made

May he R.I.P.

"K K K Ker Ker Ker come out of there G G Gu Gu Guranville", as Norman Stanley Fletcher in Porridge he was brilliant, as the miserable old sod Arkwright in "Open All Hours" he was pure comedic genius. Unfortunately it's been a last "goodnight from him" RIP Ronnie.
