Right on another forum a member joined and said he was starting with the hornby track mat and the grand terminus station,it gave me an idea to try it on the hornby HVR2 program but slightly change the way it connects together so heres the track plan i did on the hornby HVR2 program.

The track mat has been extended to 8ft and the station to 10ft tell me what you guys think of it.Also the square gap on one end is where the small town would go.

As soon as i start the construction of this smaller layout i will start another thread for it so each layout has a thread of it's own.

Been having a think about having this other layout in our loft now as it is 6ft x 20ft it has lighting already fitted by me and my dad but no electric sockets and it is partly boarded up but needs finishing off,but needs clearing out as we are using it to store all our junk and stuff.

If i did use the whole of the loft i would have to have the benchwork like this.

but i ain't sure what am doing yet

Done me thinking so shed is out and my main layout will be put into the loft and made longer so it will fill the 6x20 space, and will look like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ughlayout2.jpg

As i will use both 6x4 baseboards as i did in the bedroom and the 6x3 and use what timber i bought to make up the other baseboards need to expand the layout to 20ft.And i won't be building the smaller layout now either.

I have got half the loft sorted out but took 5 hrs to do though, now i just need to do the other half then the layout sections can be moved up there and re-erected then i need to knock up some more baseboards then the track laying can continue. And then the trains can start running again.

I doubled posted so i put this in it's place.

Well i had to buy a 15m 4socket 13A extension cable to plug into my bedroom as we only got lights in the loft and no plug sockets,as we couldn't afford to have them fitted might do sometime in the near future if we have the money to have some fitted.
