My layout in the making

Here is two pic's of my layout i did on Hornby's HRV2 program as i had trouble drawing it out the first one is the lower level, the second is the upper level and here are some pic's of my layout in the making.
In these pictures my layout isn't quite sorted as i have changed some things since these were taken i.e the gradients have changed two help the trains going up hill.
I had to change the gradient to 60mm from 80mm due to the trains wheelspinning so from 60mm it stays flat around the curve then it goes from 60mm to 80mm and when it comes out from the station it drops from 80mm to 60mm to complete a full circuit but when the trains go to the lower level from the upper level the gradient is steep but i think i might change that so it's not as steep as it is now when i have some more pic's i will post them

£85 is a good price for what you got, I paid £75 just for my loco the rolling stock came to more than the £10 extra you paid.

how far apart do you have to put track to prevent the trains clashing?

With hornby and i think peco the tracks have to be 67mm apart centre to centre hope that helps. Also i lot has changed since my first posted on here about layout some of the track work has changed as other things too have changed.
