      Tamiya's 1/35 scale Kettenkraftrad

      Hi Guys

Thought it about time I at least post something from my latest build as I have been pretty quiet.

Here is a couple of pics of where I am at with my Kettenkraftrad.

Nice bit of wear & tear on the kettenkrad

      Hi gang,

      Slow progress on this one!

If its bad now, god knows how it will be when the third bump arrives in April!

In process of applying decals after a coat of klear ready for weathering, hence the shine!

      Christmas Greetings

Looking good Rich, though the driver/rider looks unsure about where you've put that toothpick!

      Finally Completed

      Thanks for the encouraging comments!

Finally finished with a splash of colour from some purple wild flowers that I scratch built, I'm a little undecided with if it was the right thing to do so your honest thoughts are appreciated as I'm thinking of pruning them back?

Those of you who may have read my blog will also know that the base is constructed from an old plastic baby milk tin lid (oh and if your a midwife reading this the breast dried up), with the earth being constructed from polystyrene, a dollop of Claycrete followed with a topping of cat litter.

Look forward to your thoughts and comments.

      Cheers

      Rich

This is a very nice, you have made a cracking job with the kit and the figures. No reflection on you at all, the construction and painting is top notch, it is when you look at the molding on the figures you can tell that this is an old Tamiya kit that has been around a lot of years and it shows compared to the more modern day kits that they are now producing.

I like it very simple but says a lot! Well done mate!
