was a member of this club it's ok if you want to be in a divided club they have the use of three pools and the members argue about which pool to use some even wanted to test the water quality . only some very few members make you feel welcome to be there . i even went in to a model shop in stourport and what they had to say about this club i cant repeat.
sorry but i have to give this club the thumbs down sorry stourbridge and all the good members there

I have been a member since the begining. The problems started when the Kinswinford Pool was gained this split the club at once with these members going off to do there own things and bad mouthing other members. The committee has decided to dump the kingswinford pool and its members if they so wish maybe they will start there own club. The Stourbridge club has now got to do a lot bridge building to regain its friendly and helpful relationship with the local area and members, something that will be done quit quickly

I feel I must reply to some of Antuks comments, Kingswinford pool was leased as it offered access 7 days a week compared to our original lake that had access only on Wednesday and Saturday, this lease has now been ammended by the leaseing authority to give upto six days a week excluding Sunday.
The secretary does not control any water, leases are signed by the committee officers, the water refered to regarding disabled access is not and never has been an official club water. Members have permision to use this if they wish on an informal basis.
Regarding water testing, why is this held up to ridicule? Kingswinford park lake when first accessed by the club was prone to flooding even in periods of low rainfall, this suggested areas of stagnant water with the associated risks. Is concern of members health not to be considered? My final thought is that you can please some of the members some of the time but not all members all of the time.
