Disclaimer.

With the increasing amount of material now in circulation on Scale-models and in particular that written by myself I think that it is time to issue a small disclaimer ! whilst every effort is made to test and try out the various products & techniques mentioned in the various posts, it is important to remember that the information is given in good faith and no responsibility can be taken if a particular material etc does not work for anyone else ! as they say conditions are beyond my control and it is up to the individual user to do a small test piece before embarking on his or her model etc,to satisfy themselves about its use.
There have been cases whereby products have changed formulae, such as the paints and finishes used in the motor industry over the past few years, where cellulose was changed for acrylic etc in the interests of the environment, this however has changed the application of paint finishes on certain materials.
Skills and practises vary to such a large degree that it is impossible to cover all elements and in particular the use of certain materials or practises by individuals.
Sorry that this message is a bit unweildy but I just want to get my point over clearly about this.
Having said that I have no hesitation in saying that all of these methods mentioned have been used at some stage by myself,I just want to make this clear about individual use.
Meanwhile many Happy hours of model building and I hope that you all of you enjoy the material offered and that you will find it useful in the future,Barry.

No problem with that Barry,
It's nice to see all the useful tips in one place that can be found easily rather than trying to remember in which particular mag in the pile that a certain tip was printed in and trying to find it again after !!!
All these tips are usually tried and tested anyway, some may not work for some but will work for others. It's the ideas that count and always go a long way to help in any aspect of modelling.

Regards........Mark.
