| Drones for use by the Police force Being evaluated today by the West Midlands police in the centre of Birmingham is a small vertical take off four motor counter torque drone, the idea is that the Drone sends back information to a laptop computer and can fly in very confined spaces and is portable. The Drone is capable of being flown down streets and high above buildings to detect and monitor criminal activities, already tested by the Merseyside police force the cost of each unit is some £30,000

| To me they seem a waste of money to have as they won't be able to use them if it's slightly windy and kids would be trying to knock them out the sky. |
