ok im still filling in little cracks on this and preping it for paint but the masking fluid i bought from the art shop says its for water colour :| so i dunno if it will work with enamel paints

*** Yes,perfectly ok for all types of paint,it is only a latex solution with some colouring so you can see the material,use a stick with a knife cut in the end to apply,dont use your good brushes as it wrecks them,a good tip is to go to your local pound shop and buy some cheapies that can be thrown away.

ahaa i knew about it wrecking brushes too

im still trying to sand down the filler it keeps clogging my wet and dry paper

*** Make sure the filler is absolutely dry,leave it a good 24 hours at least before attempting to sand down,use wet & dry paper with plenty of water to rub down,build up filler in thin layers,plug bigger holes with scrap plastic from the sprues.

Mate if you use water make sure you put a asquirt of washing up liquid in it will stop the clogging and work as a wetting agent makes life sooooo much easier

Also dont waste your money on expensive masking fluids copydex is just the same and beats them all for ease of use

heh yea i dont like the smell of masking fluid i wretch when i get a whiff of it bleugh

also washing upliquid worked it stopped it clogging really badly

just a bit more to rub down then onto the paint
