Model card building request.

Just received this e-mail,do we have any leads on anything here to help our comrade ?

I've just been looking through your great modelling website and although I'm not an airplane fan as such I found it all very interesting. After seeing the cut outs you offer I was hoping you could help me. I have been trying to find scale drawings of buildings (preferably in 1/35 or !/72 - but any would be fine). These drawings would not need to be in great detail, in fact the simpler the better, I just need them as a starting point to build from and from there add my own decor etc. I was wondering and hoping you may know of a website where I could get them from (preferably free) or maybe, you may have some you could scan and email me if at all possible?

In case you are wondering I found your site through http://www.scale-models.co.uk/forumindex.php as I have just joined it and was looking through.

Well, I hope you can help me, I really have had a hard time finding anything (in fact, nothing).

Best wishes
Steve Smith

There are a number of home architectural soft ware packages that you could use to design your own very easily.

I had a Broderbund one when we were looking at the new house and you put a plan together with prefabricated shapes and symbols and made up a house plan. When you were finished you could actually walk through it!! That was about 6 years ago so i would have a serious look at this type of thing as you can very quickly and easily put together exactly what you wanted and then scale it in a drawing package and print it out.

Just an idea.

depending on what kind of buildings steve wants to make, blueprints can be obtained from local librarys or councel offices, you could copy the basic shapes and scale them down. seein as it will all be done to scale anyway and tell you what scale it is done in its just a matter of maths, or he you could even search the internet for blue-prints. they dont have to be specific plans for scale models
