| ***You are very observant RJW,yes it is an Enstrom F.28 Helicopter G-BCFP,she suffered a conrod failure and crashed into a ploughed field, the pilot walked away.
You could say it was my largest model. Quote: |

| hello folks,
in response to some of the points raised,
yes RJ Wood UK - we still have earthquake simulators here at the park..... getting a bit long in the tooth but still ' rumbling' away.......
wonwinglo, you are absolutely correct, the tubing seen in the pictures are the MEK extraction, to comply with COSHH regulations we change the 'air' in the model studio 8 times every hour by volume, thats means we dont go home high at the end of the day !
and as for your dragon rapide then i have no objections !!!!!!!, sadly we have a regulation that states every metal component we use in a model has to be in stainless steel....... |

| they are heavy duty extractors, the fan that runs they system is about the size of a transit van !
the model studio where we do the building with MEK/ solvents has a glass wall so people can see what we are making... it is about 45m x 30m we then have a clean room for design/ drawing work and a workshop with benches, lathes, drills, sanders and welding bays, this is for the stainless steel armatures used in the 'robotic' animated models.
will dry and get some more pictures of the facility if you wish and post them on here.... |
