I had a johnny seven it was the bestest toy in the universe a complete one man army and everything fired !! with regards to the cavelry the box is issue 3 from 69 onwards it may have been available before but that box dates the product

oh right, thanks nigel. im sure it will horrify my dad when i tell him the dat (he is 50 on 2nd May)

can anyone give me a propper clarification on the dat, i have had 3 different one, just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some sources i can use for dating airfix models....or are you guys just using you memories?

That must have been either Kleeware or Tudor Rose,the latter was sold by F.W.Woolworth's,the very first plastic kit to ever appear in the UK was made by Kleewre,a Bell 47 helicopter to 1=32nd scale,I have still got mine,then along came Airfix,a plastic utensils manufacturer from Haldane Place,London if you had shares in these then after a few years you were rich,I know of a speculator who made enough to buy his first house and a sports car,not bad,but like everything the bubble burst and others got on the bandwagon,all history now.

RJW,there is a book on Airfix products with all of the dates of every product,there must be something on the net,as there are a lot of collectors around ?

Come from a land with ice and snow the 7th calvery do march and show

Custer did lead much to disdain the brave men of the 7th died in vain
Sitting bull stood among the dead he declared these men were vallient and

ok, well obviously my first resource was ebay, i found lots and lots but they all had the new airfix logo, i found one that has the same as on the box i have...

No they are the ho oo scale 1/76 approx and made from polythene
