| If you are handy then making a four blade prop is not too difficult, firstly make or turn a suitable spinner from wood, then make four separate blades in profile, sand them to shape incorporating the helical twist, then drill four holes into the spinner, glue correctly as per the picture in your book, prime and paint and you have a four bladed prop.

| You make it sound easy Barry but I suspect my attempt would end up more like a crash landed variety!!! |

| THANK YOU - It is much appreciated - I will get cracking and order these extra detailed items as soon as possible - I aim to have the Kit ( if my work is permitting peace and quiet ) ready in about a month of construction . I never hurry models - a recipe for disaster ! Patience pays - best wishes David |

| ***Another way is to fill the existing hub slots,re-make four slots, cut one extra blade using the existing one as a pattern embedded into modelling clay, use P38 car filler to make the extra blade pressed into the pattern,re-jig the lot, result one four blader. Quote: |

| the foam stuff is called oasis isnt it? but dont you get the dust off it or do you need to wet it?
i guess to make a 4 bladed prop, do what nigel has said but cut remove two of the blades off the original, then you can just make the impression, take it out, move it around, make impresion of blade in different pos....etc untill you have a mould for a 4 bladed prop! |

| Had never heard of this technique before RJ ? but it does work, once the resin/P38 has set just pull out of the mould, any roughness can easily be filed or sanded off.
Thanks Nigel for a first class tip for reproducing small parts quickly.
