The M58 Smoke Generator

I used a M113 hull from Academy and modified it. I cut out an opening for the mechanics and scratchbuilt all the details neccessary for the look. The result is what you see.Not the best scratchbuilt as I built this over two years ago.

Here is what it looks like:

Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. Chris all the ideas come from searching the net. I like to just browse the net until I come across things that are unsual or have not been made into a kit yet. Then if they interest me I just make some general searches to find more info on them. Most of the time it's deifficult because there's little or no info at all. I usually pose questions in military forums but as usually I get no replies. So the parts that I cannot get info on I just use deductive reasoning to figure out the rest. Most of the time I'm spot on or close to it.

That's why people think my builds are nice because it's usual and different. I don't think they are all that, just that folks have never seen them before or they are not available in kit form. That's the thing too. I try and only build things that are not available in kit form. This way they remain unique until someone get inspired and builds the same.
