Do you enjoy these highly repetative little modelling tasks?

Those individual trank links look great but I'd worry about loosing the last little bit of sanity I have painstakingly assembling those little parts!

Hello Alan!
To say I love those repetetive tasks is to take it a bit far out
So I start early in the build and do some now and then in between other parts.
But I have to say it's worth it in the end (I hope) The model is looking far better with individual links than just some paperstrips wrapped around.
And since I have the possibillity to be the first to try the links, I'm happy with it.I also gets them for free just like a betatester....

Coming along very nicely Johhny. Are you intending putting this one into a diorama setting as well?

The running gear on those german military vehicles looks massively complex, I never realised they fitted a small roller to each of the sprocket teeth on the drive wheel, and also the typical arrangement of overlapping road wheels...

...have you ever thought to try a card model of something simpler?

Thanks for yor nice words guys!!

I have planned to put this one into the " where are we going" diorama together with the Horch Richard!

For me the only way to go is more challenge.....so I'm not going for something simpler than this I think this one is rated easy or medium difficulty level

The glue i use are schotch school white glue.It comes in 30grams plastic tubes, and are the type I have chosen since it's a bit thicker than the other white glue, it dries fast enough and are transparent when dried.
The colors I use are mainly the weathering sets from Tamiya and waterbased indoor paint that I get mixed at my local colorshop.
Since I'm colorblind I have to use colors that are finished and don't require any mix to get the right tone, so I just bring the kit with me to the store, they scan the color I want, and makes me almost a perfect match
I also use Humbrol enamels, but I have to ask my wife or kids to pick the closest color for me before I even dare to open a box....

I have finished all the wheels and made one of the tracks!
The tracks is a story of itselves....but I got the links connected by gluing one and one over the "bolt" in the next link, and placed the other parts when all was assembled.
