Thread: A few from me

    A few from me

Thought I'd post a few pics for you all to see, any and all comments are most welcome. The cars I built a fair few months ago before I found such things as forums and magazines to read, the figures are a little more recent as I found the Vallejo model paints and have started to use oils for the skin tones.

Currently I'm working on the Tamiya 2005 NSX raybrig I'll try and take a few (WIP) shots and post later today or tomorrow. I've tried some new paints and used my airbrush in anger for the first time so I'd be most interested in your comments.

Thanks for taking the time to look...

    Regards
    David

    Wow! Very impressive looking models.
The soldier in 4th picture is amazingly realistic. What scale is he?
    I like the Zakspeed Capri.

    Thanks for the comments
The fourth figure is 1:16, uniform and MG42 painted with Vallejo Model paint and the skin tones are painted with Newton and Windsor oils a mix of Titainium White, Burnt Sienna and Yellow Orche.

    Team1 figures are 1:35

Nice work there so far David,

I do like the skin tones on the figures, looks far more realsitic than some paints I have seen. Am also very impressed with the cars too, Especially the Zakspeed Capri as this was also the very first R/C Nitro car I ever built. Not quite same colours but it does bring back memories. The BMW looks fantastic too.

I can only imagine the Raybrig NSX is going to be a stunner so am looking forwards to the pics of that one.

    Regards.......Mark.

    Howdy David,

Great looking work there, I especially like the cars, the figures look really nice too, but I try to avoid them myself lol.
I dont know if you have looked at any of my work, but I shoot all of my models outside on my driveway, I can only imagine how well your two cars would look in an outdoor setting...I bet it would give the appearance of the models being the real things.
Anyway, sometime when you have nothing to do, give outdoor shooting a try....at eye level, and see what ya think of the method.
    Again, great looking work!

    Have a good day,

    Greg aka GW
