ok , here are some pics from a local model exhibition held this weekedn in edinburgh, altho` primarily a model rail exhibition there where other areas of modelling present, being static modelling and rc boats ( Edinburgh model boat club stand).
some bueatiful static models, there where more layouts but i didnt realise my flash wasnt working and the pics are not worth posting .
some nice models there though adz...I always enjoy going to the shows to see what people have made.....it always sets me in right frame of mind to get building again and do more.
That is exactly how I feel Bluewave,if I see a model that I like I usually seek out the builder and compliment him/her on their wonderful workmanship, you will be surprised how much that you learn from speaking to them personally and it is a great model building bond, that is the thing about our hobby we can all learn so much from each other and it makes it so much fun.
I always marvel at those big trucks with all of the detail, they must spend hours at some of these projects but it is great to see the end gleaming result.
We have some really first class modellers for sure and your pictures bring this home Adz,more show pics anyone please ?
