Smile 1:25 scale tin plate models

    Hi, everyone,

I make scale models of tin plate. At least 80% of the models is metal. I am not sure if I may post this kind of thing in this forum, but I like to share experiences and learn from others. Even though I have had many people wanting to buy the trucks, I have done the work only as a hobby.

Hi Ivan and welcome to the site,

Your models look absolutely fantastic and they are more than welcome on here. It doesn't matter what you make them from - after all, we cater for card models so Tin models are just as welcome.

I have had a look at your web site as well as your pictures on here, they are all very impressive models.

I look forwards to seeing more of them.

    Regards.......Mark

    Bluewavestudios/Mark, thank you very much,
It is good to be in another forum, from another country and have the opinion of other peoples about what I do.

I like to do things with tin and my future project is a 1:10 scale Chevy 54 pickup truck. I hope it has more detais so that one can take away its wheels by unscrewing the bolts.

    Thanks,
    Ivan Gouveia

Wow, You've done some beautiful work there. Are any radio controlled?

Hi, Jerome Morris, thanks for your comment.

All those trucks are planed to be radio controlled. But I implemented it only in the Mercedes-benz Axor 2640. By the way, there is a movie in the Youtube that shows it. YouTube - Mercedes-benz Axor

I was with the camera and my wife with the remote control. She does not have much experience in radio controlling. So she made abrupt moves. Some day I wil make the movie again.

One of my next projects will be a 1:10 scale pickup Chevy 54.
