    Airfix 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon

This is a great model & it fits well, although when it came to applying the decals, they simply crumbled when touched, as soon as i attempted to slide them off the paper with my tool, it broke up, they where on an orange piece of paper, all my other models have been on blue paper, & i've never expirienced any problems before atall, has anybody else expirienced this before?

Hi Len. Absolutely! Most if not all of ICM's decals shatter instantly. I guess that they are a really thin film. The only other method that I know of is to use a product called microscale decal film. I creates a waterproof film or layer that is what's supposed to be there in the first place. Trust me, its not you! Hope this helps, Jeff

Maybe you left them too long in the water? I always leave them for a minimum about of time, if anything too little time!

I have this kit, i got it as a bundle with spitfire Now and then package.
I have used only 2 decals from it, ones that go on the tail.
If you want rest of decals i can get them to you.
Mine came on the blue paper together with spitfire decals

You are not alone! I've had old monogram decals and new ones from the Polish outfit whose name I can't recall do the same thing. I'd second Jspitza. If you can't get the decal film a couple of coats of clear acrylic may help.
