Shaun The Sheep, Naughty Pigs, Bitzer, Timmy and a Land Rover

Yes I know I'm a bit old for it but I couldn't resit it, £12.99 with free p&p of ebay

I keep looking at this kit, it does get some good reviews. Only problem is, having shrugged off all the 'Horse' innuendo I could not risk a sheep based kit as I originate from Yorkshire.......

Hope you are going to do a feature packed illustrated build for us all John, I would be interested (in the land rover that is....)

I'm more interested in the Land Rover, I wanted something with a large area to test my new air brush, when it comes

Awesome! I've been wondering about something more child-friendly for my daughter to look at (but not touch!) Considered a scratch built crane off of Bob the Builder this morning... Let us know how it goes.

Finally got my airbrush, I got this model to experiment with, I didn't want an expensive model to ruin, when I started this I had my airbrush all setup just looking for the right colour in the kit, then I read the instructions and it said no need to paint the land rover

So I decided to make a change to the original and made it a green land rover, I didn't want it to look plastic blue.

Looks a great finish on there John. How are you getting on with the AB? I still feel a tad apprehensive when I use mine.

Not too bad, I've only done big areas or masked off bits so nothing too complicated, I'm going use it for a bit of pre-shading but not on this one, this is just for a bit of fun, nothing too taxing.

But I do think for big areas it looks much better, no brush strokes just a smooth finish, apart from the bit where I've gone in too close and blown the paint, I will get used to it

Quick airbrush tip for you all. If you load on too much paint and fear runs, blow it with just air until it forms a skin.

    Another tip. Cheep too
When starting to use an air brush for the first time, find a plastic bottle and or a box. paint that. Muck it up and no loss or damage. Play with air pressure and paint thinner, see what happens.
Then paint some thing you brought!
    John:
Just curious, why didnt you just paint the land rover blue? Everbody knows that the LR in Shaun the Sheep is blue!!!

    fenlander:
Could of been worse, you could have come from Wales. Then you would never have heard the end of it!!!

To all the welsh reading this SORRY IT WAS A JOKE.
