required info on harbour buildings

Hi there one and all,
We want to develope some old harbour buildings, victorian stuff, old wool warehouses, etc.
Anybody any ideas as to where we can find some decent research material or does anyone have any usefull info?

unfortunately not the kind of thing you come across very often, a good place to start is advertising locally for any old photographs of the area,

You may want to look at some model railroad sites. While checking out some different layouts, I used to run across some really nice harbour dioramas incorporated into the layouts. Ken C
