the reason why is that i want to put pro modellers wash onto the model and its recommended that you put it over johnsons klear and i have already glossed the model with humrol gloss
gloss can take up to seven days to fully dry out and with klear its 24 hrs at least . so the question is that is it ok to go over the gloss with the klear

If your enamel will take seven days to cure and you overcoat it with another varnish (discounting the compatibility issues) how is the enamel going to cure?
Paints cure by evaporating the solvents to the atmosphere (simplified argument). If you seal the enamel under another coating it cannot cure, so will stay soft.

I think the fact you have already put a gloss finish on your model removes the need to put on the Klear coat.

Just my interpretation, not an expert view!

Don't worry Tansed, for many years we have been regarded as a friendly forum open to questions from all newcomers looking for a bit of help and advice.

Feel free to ask what you want and rest assured that it is our intention to always go easy on every one!!

How about a couple of pictures of your plane, it might help us to see what you are trying to achieve.
