Well Hi,
200-3, good choice, re the compressor- you need this as you have discovered, and a proper airline so you can walk around your model.

depending on your allowance ;-} ... wifie not going with you¿
you do need a regulator and a filter, just as it is important to have an air tank to sort out some of the pulses the bigger the better within reason of course, even an old tyre used as an air store works this is where the price difference comes in,
and the depth of your pocket.. (mine was a commercial vacuum pump which I reversed)

i assume the regulator is there to stop set the pressure?
air tank to act as a reservoir to reduce pressure changes??
whats the filter for?
can you point me in the direction of a particular setup?
budget is tight lol
cheers

You can pick up reasonable priced compressors from a lot of places, ebay usually has a good range on offer.
Here is a link to show you the types that are available plus other bits 'n bobs for airbrushing.

RDG Tools ltd AIR BRUSHES AND COMPRESSORS

What you have just done usually happens in the heat of the moment when ordering things. Its even worse when you order something from the US, with a six week lead time.

I would just phone RDG up, tell them you have just bought a compressor from them and you need the adaptor to fit from compressor to airbrush. Have the compressor model and airbrush model handy when you phone, just in case they are not the standard ones. But they should be.

They are about £2 + postage
