Red and blue.

OK, to airbrush this heli in 1/48 scale i would choose-
Humbrol Enamel No15 midnight blue.
And No HP209 florescent orange.
Yes?

Thats the colour,Midnight blue, this was the original colour used on American Sikorsky built S-55 helicopters, the original handful of lease lend machines were simply repainted with British roundals retaining that lovely midnight blue, the Dayglow orange is fine but dont hold your breath on spraying that one,it needs special thinners as the composition is not the same as standard Humbrol enamel, best to go to a cycle shop and buy a rattle can of dayglow orange paint which is a good match, apply Halfords base coat matt white primer and apply over the top with the spray,my advice would be to spray overall first with the primer, then mask the areas for the dayglo, apply the dayglo and allow to cure, mask off the dayglow, then add the midnight blue, sounds complicated but you have two entirely different finishes to contend with.
Tamiya masking tape is good for jobs like this.

Cheers wonwinglo.
Have ordered some Tamiya masking tape, but if you dont mind, i'le not use undercoat, as it's just adding unwanted weight.
These little heli's only weigh in at about 2oz, all up, so undercoat will only add weight for the motors to lift, Here are two others i have.

Tic Tac's for scale !!

Derek.

Ps. So, does anybody know what you thin florescent paint with. Thanks.
