    Prototypes worth modelling-The Me.163.

The Me.163 has a few interesting aeromodelling possibilities, but to ensure a stable design a reflex trailing edge should be incorporated into the wing design,by doing this even free flight glider versions have flown successfully,as a PSS Power slope soarer the design looks simply superb floating around on any hillside.
To make a powered IC version just fit your favourite motor hiding as much as possible of the cylinder head, but even better would be a simple electric version, fit a cobalt motor and watch this one rip through the sky with ease.
In each case when using radio you will need to use elevons, these double as ailerons and elevator, today it is an easy matter to link together electronically, doing away with a sliding tray with two mini servos that would have been necessary in the past.
I cannot think of a more workable exciting subject for scale modelling, given a suitable paint job which would look good in the air,but just make sure that you add a touch of colour to the fin say as this one would certainly merge into the grass !
