Aircraft in detail-The Republic Sea Bee.

Designed by that doyon of amphibious aircraft P.H.Spencer,the Sea Bee has become a classic, well ahead of its time in terms of technology this aircraft has a strong following world-wide.

As a model subject it has a lot to offer,a simple wing with 'Clark Y' section, adequate tail area with a large cabin space, the centre of gravity could be easily preserved by placing radio etc below the floor keeping it well forward, the fuselage could be easily built in two halves incorporating the lower sponson and the upper deck,a very attractive subject for flying over land or water.

Republic Sea Bee.
Plans were published by the Aeromodeller as a free flight design by Harold Towner, were available from Nexus, current status not known ?.
