Prototypes worth modelling-The Hirtenberg HS.9A

The Hirtenberg HS.9A was a product of the Austrian Hirtenberg company after they acquired the aviation interests of the earlier Hopner company founded in 1935.
Although the aviation division got little commercial success the HS.9 was built in small numbers as a two seat touring aeroplane originally fitted with a Siemens Sh.14 powerplant, the model shown here the 'A' version had a Gipsy Major fitted.
The military trainer version was called the HS.16 which was used for training.

The subject would make an ideal flying model especially with the stable parasol wing layout, although the tailplane would need some enlargment to make her stable in the longitudinal axis.
