I was lucky enough to buy an Albatros kit at a swap meet, and it is a cracking flyer on an 91 4st. Now that it has flow I will get down to some fine detailing, these photos have proved to be a great help!

Cheers, Zakk

I,ve managed to load some photos of my Albatros in the gallery, but can,t figure out how to attach photos to messages. If anyone can help I,ll be much obliged. untill then you can see my model in the gallery. She's a lovely flier, after sorting out some gremlins. Just have to add some scale detailing now: dummy engine, observer and gun, radiators etc.. More to follow, hopefully!

Step by step instructions

Go to your gallery and click on the appropriate thumbnail

Right click the full size image and copy the Address (URL)

In this case it looks like this "http://www.scale-models.co.uk/gallery/files/3/7/1/1/2007_0101steve0002.JPG"

Where you want the photo in your post click on the “insert image” button, (looks like a mountain)

When the new window opens highlight the ”http://”, right click it and paste your copied Address (URL).

It took me some time to figure it out but once you get the hang of it it's dead easy.

Nice looking model by the way!!

Success! Thanks greyhead! As you can gather I'm new to this digital photo thingy, but once I've got the hang of it I'll post more piccies. These were taken last sunday, and the Albatros flew really well. Still got to do a lot of scale detailing, but its all looking very promising.

Cheers, Zakk

Just to complete the story, the Wings Albatross C.1 has gone to a new private owner in Anglesey, the very nice young lady who picked it up says that it will be added to her husbands expanding collection of historic models,as the custodian who saved the model, repaired the damaged lower wing, flew it once and preserved the model it gives me great pleasure to pass it on to a new caring owner.
