Nanny Pictures.

Duncan was asking about my Nanny, here she is,not the most pretty of models but she serves me well as a test bed for engines, all of the Lanc motors have been run in and adjusted in her, with flaps and currently fitted with a four stroke 53 size motor she will take off in a few feet, land in a 10 knot wind with full flap in three feet and virtually hover, she is a real STOL machine and has given me hours of flying pleasure.
Built from a plan that I sent for from one of the magazines ( cannot remember which ? )
Everyone is only interested in pattern ships around here, but my Nanny stooges around the circuit at low level well out of their way and harm, they take up masses of sky whilst she will turn inside them and make five landings and take offs in the space that they take up to land once ! real flying fun and a useful ship as well,I just love her,she was well worth the build time.

My electric Tomtit would fit the bill nicely Duncan, and this would not get any oil on your deck either, you know what these Navy types are like sticklers for cleanliness on their decks.

Agree about electric, apart from mess, you can go around again without engine quiting if you have a bolter. Wish I could afford outrunners and li-ons.
