Looking for UK warbird, radial engine and retracts

Hi

I'd love to build a UK warbird RC aeroplane with retracts which would suit a saito .90 radial engine. This engine is only rated at .95hp so is a lot less than your average .90. A .40 (2 stroke) Sea Fury would be ideal but is their such a kit?

Howdy Jim,

First, welcome to the forum, we are glad to have you here. Now, sorry, but I cant help you with your problem, but by replying to the post, I brought your thread back up to the top of the list where someone else with more experience in R/C models might see it lol. I am str4ictly a static model builder myself so like I said, I couldnt help ya if I wanted to but, maybe some of these other guys can.
Anyway, I just really wanted to welcome you to the forum being that this is your first post.

Have a good day and welcome again,

Greg aka GW

Hello Jim,do not know about a Sea Fury kit available but Flair products certainly once did a Yak with a radial engine.
Do not be tempted to build something too large or heavy for that powerplant, but it will turn a large prop.
I Once had a two cylinder Saito 90,the sound it made was just lovely, the quality of these motors is excellent.
Dont forget you will almost certainly need on-board glo for this one.
The Flair warehouse is only down the road from me, so if you want me to make enquiries for you as to availability etc please ask.
