Hello Medamuppet ! forget the plans and follow these instructions to make a working instructional wing that will serve you well for experiments-
1/Take a piece of A5 thin card and fold it lengthways into two, then open it up so you have one piece going straight up .
2/At a point aprox 1/3rd of the card on the lower piece glue a strip of wood approx half an inch from tip to tip.
3/Next pull the top surface ( ie the vertical piece of the card ) directly over the strip of wood and glue down the end of the two pieces of card, this will give you an aerofoil lifting shape.
4/ To demonstrate the lift gained from the card wing place it onto the edge of a table with two pins pushed into the ends of the wood strip and balancing on two blocks of hardwood, next use a fan to generate the lift.
5/Observe how the increased and decreased pressure of the aerofoil will lift the wing.
A even simpler demonstration is to hold a flat piece of paper in front of you and move slowly forward, the sheet will lift even if it is only a flat piece of paper.
Or you could even sand a piece of foam to the shape of any aerofoil section and use that.
