| Messerschmitt BF110 G2 Ok. My Dornier is on hold while i do another project for a competion at school.
Im building the 1/48 Revell Messerschmitt BF110 G2. It seems like a good kit, with a good number of peices and plenty of deatils. The kit will be built box stock.
Interior
and another picture
Comments and critisisms welcome.

| Tanks Guys for the compliments, but i've come into one problem, the nose cone, thats seperate, and it really has apalling fit, and also the the wings also dont fit very well. (all ot of sanding.) i'll post some pictures of my progress later today. Please bare in kind that i've been working on it for a week, as i posted the first bit when i had the time to. Also when my camera arrived, so the cockpit was done on friday, and i have started the task of maske ine fusalage fit.
As ive already said, pictires later.
Bye!

| Join the 'Make it fit properly' club Euan ! some kits have appalling fits which seem engineered to test the modellers patience, but there is nothing that cannot be put right with a bit of thought, sanding and a bit of filler thrown in.
The worst cases are when large sections are warped, the only course of action being to soak carefully in warm water and hold the shape in your hands until it cools off.
But you are a modeller, and nothing is beyond us,we have the technology, what is it the Germans say 'Vorsprung Durst Technic' ?

| Fusalage nearly done! Ok, so ive spent long time getting the fulage together nd installing the cockpit, the biggets nightmares were the wings and the engines, that are still waiting to be filled.
Ok, ive installed the cockpit, and this is what it looked like, also you can see the glue i had to use to hold the wing in place (its a 2 part glue)
On the underside i have attached most of the detail, and i'm now working on the undercarridge.
Please comment

| Euan, when you get that wing joint problem again like this then try this neat dodge, get some medium cyno and some baking powder, join the wing with the cyno and sprinkle baking powder onto the joint, there will be a bit of smoke and a puff, dont worry it is just the cyno gassing against the powder, once dry you will have the toughest gap-filling joint you have ever built.
You can place masking tape either side of the joint before you glue the wings on,then sand between the tape if you are careful.
Sand down with medium grit wet and dry and finish off with Squadron green filler to blend in the joint.
She looks great and coming along well.
