Anyone Fancy Putting some Radio in this one..??

Add Four Jet Engines and some radio and this would be an awesome model to have !!

Another end of an era. Still it also marks the fact that British Airways are not the industry leaders they used to be so it's maybe appropriate that they do not continue to display an aircraft that they abandoned!!

Who would have imagined that Emirates Airways, would one day be a pioneering world leader ? the world is watching their plans with the A380.

i worked with a bloke who worked on that model when it was built and located on the heathrow roundabout, shame to see it go,

At least the Model has gone to a good home so it can continue to be admired by many and a fitting reminder of a Once Great Aircraft.
When I worked in London, I regularly used to drive out on the A30 past the Southern Perimeter of Heathrow where the Concorde Hangers were right next to the road, There was always one Concorde outside in full view and at least 6 other Concorde Tails sticking out from the Hangers there.
Sadly those days are no more.
