If the ME 109 is coming out of the sun the falcon would never see him! I like the unconventional tail wheel arrangement although it might be a little uncomfortable on landing - I hope your kids get as much fun from your models as you do!!

Nice work on the camo on the 109!

Tyler is under the slight misconception that the best position for the pilot is clinging to the tail wheel.
I dont believe there are any records of 109 pilots wing walking or hiding behind the wheels whilst in flight.

This photograph of a 109 is rare evidence of the unusual seating position taken by trainee pilots due to the lack of dual seat ME109 advanced trainers. The unusual seating position, with the pilot clinging to the tailwheel was facilitated by the tail bracing struts and use of non retracting tailwheel. Many pilots preferred this location as the uninterrupted 360 degree field of view offered real benefits in a dogfight situation. Many Luftwaffe aircraft featured non fully retractable tailwheels to enable this unusual seating position.

hhhahahaaaa..
excellent...Tyler will be pleased. Surely this would leave some truly terrifying skid marks (in every sense of the words) upon landing!!!
