Help choosing....advice needed

Hello All

I am trying to find the best and most original Lancaster model kit, something bigger than 1:72 for my fella.....we have looked at so many but how do you know which one to get?

The Tamiya Lancaster in 1/48th scale is a superb kit and probably the best model of a large scale Lanc that you are going to find.

You can even get photo etch detail sets for them but it makes into a beautifull model out of the box.

There are usually a couple on Ebay at any one time for around about the fifty pound mark so you can get hold of one easily enough.

I'd suggest the Tamiya 1:48 Lancaster too - there's lots of aftermarket bits for it too for superdetailing and it builds up into an impressively sized model at 1:48 scale too.

Can't go wrong with Tamiya.
