Pilatus Pc 6 Engine

Good afternoon everybody
I am new to this site and do not speak english very well. I have been a model builder for 4 years and now I am trying to build a 2 mt wing span pilatus pc 6 from Airborne magazine plan. I have a old YS 53 engine and was thinking to power the model with it.
Can anybody tell me whether it will be fine or maybe I am underpowering the model?
Thank you.
Alessandro.

Hello Alessandro and Welcome to the Forums,

I hope the PC6 is coming on well, a nice choice of subject for a model too. In answer to your question, the main consideration for choice of engine here will be the all up weight of the finished model. You have stated that this is a 2 Metre wingspan model so it is quite large. I think the YS 53 is not going to be powerful enough for this model as it is a 4 stroke engine. If it was a 2 stroke it would be fine. If you wish to stay with a four stroke you should be looking at a 70 size at least just to ensure enough power.

Regards......Mark.
