Bf-109 E-3 in Romanian service 1/72

This is a HobbyBoss kit. It is a very nice one, and quite accurate. I have some doubts about the propeller's dimensions, but it's ok overall.

This number "64" was flown by Tiberiu Vinca, who had 15 confirmed victories.

The sad thing is that he was killed by the allies (Germans) because of a confusion.
It's an interesting lecture, so i hope you have some time to read the 2 articles.

About the kit... i've done some scratchbilding at the interior. It's not 100% complete an right, but it's the first time i scratchbild an interior.
The colors are: RLM02 (interior), RLM71 (the fuselage dark green), RLM 70 (propellers), RLM 65 (underside- i hope this is the correct term). My RLM 65 it's not very correct. It should have been lighter.

Looking very neat so far. I think the cockpit detail is perfect as you are not going to have a very clear view of it with the canopy on and the pilot in place.

If you are going to have the canopy open and no pilot you have already made the model better than a standard kit so feel pleased with yourself.

Howdy Marius,

The plane looks great to me, I really like the "weathering" on it too. The interior is like Bunker said, "perfect" and an open canopy looks good on it.
I look forward to viewing more of your work, i am off to visit your gallery when i finish here.
