HAF A-7E (1/48 Revell)

Morning guys. My new project will be an A-7E Corsair of the Hellenic Air Force what else :speak_cool: . I bought the Revell/Hasegawa kit, but i need your help. The kit gives the panels with the electronic on both sidew open but i would like to open more panels as usual. Does anyone of you have some more photos with opened panels? Also photos from the sides of the cockpit? And last if someone has a spare set of A-7D main wheels and can make me a copy??? Please???
Thank you all. The production will start this weekend hopefull, so stay tuned!!!!!

The only thing i managed to do is to detail the ejection seat with plastic rods, plastic sheet and aluminium foil for the seat belts. The head rest and back were made with magic sculp. Hope you like it!

Howdy Periklis,

The cockpit looks fantastic, the detailing is awesome. I cant help ya with the main landing gear other than to say that in the past, I have built landing gear using pieces of sprue for the struts, you can even make "flat platsic" bye heating a pirce of sprue and then flattening it in any number of ways including a hammer lol. The you can cut out the shape needed and attach them to the round sprue stock. Using a jewelers file and a sharp x-acto knife you can get really creative with sprue material. Give it a try i think you will be suprised what you can come up with.

have a good day,

Greg

Sounds like we do a lot of the same kind of work! Here's a cutaway I scanned from Modern Military Aircraft Anatomy by Eden and Moeng. (sorry the picture's a bit odd, I had to skew the book to get it all in one picture. If you want to know what the actual numbered items are, PM me, I'll scan each page for ya.) I might have some more photos in the Archive, I'll advise.

Ah-ha! Found this in The Gatefold Book of the World's Great Aircraft. Sorry there's a meat-head in the way of some of the stuff, but it gives you a starting point eh? I can send you a scan of the rest of the aircraft if you'd like. I seem to remember a Combat Aircraft Magazine article not too long concerning the Hellenic Air Force - I'll check the archives.
