Hi ,

I was shortly going to be constructing the Hasegawa

P-51D Blue Nose , model which is depicted as the last aircraft

flown by the Air Ace George Preddy

, before he was sadly accidently shot down

by his own flak whilst chasing a German Fighter in combat .

However, the aircraft I am depicting will be the CRIPES A MIGHTY 3rd

which is the one with the blue stripe on its tail and no fillet on the

fuselage ,

The reason for this aircraft , is i won a Mirror
years ago at a fair , with the image of the aircraft
on it , and always wondered who george preddy was
until the advent on the internet -

plus i bought the Book George Preddy all about him recently

so it was in my childhood so to speak , a must do thing

I have also invested in the Eagle cal

plus the Eduard associated photo-etch ( both ordered from Hannants

and will arrive next week )

- However , there has been a big blow to my plans


I bought from Ebay ( using my sniping technique ) the Moskit

exhausts designed for this kit , and they were posted 2 weeks ago

but i stupidly never asked the seller to send them recorded delivery

THEY STILL HAVE NEVER ARRIVED

I AM , very VERY ANNOYED AS I WILL have wait for these exhausts

to come up for sale on Ebay again , before I try to build the Model

as the exhausts are so great and detailed

( If you have never tried them , you don't know what you miss )


Royal Mail strikes again

the servcie from this company has come to be worse

and worse every year , and mail HAS gone missing a few times



really sad thing is that the company

Moskit went out of business a year or so ago

and their products were superlative

with sad tidings
