Prototypes worth modelling-The Luton Minor.

The Luton Minor is just one of those subjects waiting to be built up as a model subject,it has large broad chord wings,a parasol layout whereby the fuselage literally hangs low underneath making for extra stability, nice bouncy low pressure tyres and a tiny engine sufficent to fly her.
Whatever you do resist the temptation to overpower this one as it would just spoil the character,Luton Minors fly slow and steady and take a long while to get from A to B ,but their charm is just that, steady flight.
Plans are available for a small model that would easily fly with any small diesel, fit micro radio gear and you have a subject ideal for those calm balmy summer evenings,or better still fit a brushless electric motor for good clean fun down the local park, what more could you want ?
