1/72 Airfix Vosper MTB

It's been a long time coming, but at last I have completed this model.  The copyright date of this model was 1971, so the fit was pretty poor, and there was, on some parts, more flash than part!


The rigging looks thinker than it really is.  The only extras I bought were the twin oerlekon and bandstand, the torpedo tubes and the smoke launchers on the front torpedo tubes.

Great work Graham, that can't have been easy to get a build like that out of the old Airfix kit. Mission accomplished, awesome result.

Thanks for the comments.  Doing this kit has made me realise how much the production of model kits has improved over the years.

Nice work Graham. It might be old but it does build up quite nice. Room for improvement these days but aftermarket has got that pretty much covered if you are into that, that is.
I have built one and have 2 (?) in the stash for another project.

An old post I know but missed it! lol Sorry Ron.
