HI people I have a big problems with warnish, especially with matt warnish. every time after applying the matt warnish, surface model maintains a gloss look. By the way, I use a brush when I apply warnish and I'm interested if someone can help me and tell me where I'm wrong. Should I use airbrush or some different warnish brand because I using now Winsor & Newton brand.

Thanks in advance!

Windsor and Newton generally works well for me from a spray can gives a very good Matt finish.

My first question would be if you are mixing enough, the difference between a Matt and a gloss varnish is the addition of small particles, often chalk or talc as far as I know. So if it is not thoroughly mixed and you load the brush from the top you have a gloss varnish.
You can probably see a whitish layer at the bottom of the bottle.
