so im going to have a crack at this
never done a DML kit in this scale so that will be fun, and so will the individual tracks :eek:
you get a choice of 5 schemes......1 chinese from the korean war and 1 polish/3 russian from WW2
i might have a go at a winter whitewash paint job, seen it done with latex instead of hair spray ad fancy a go...........but then i might not, we shall see

Houston, we have a problem........

oil filter had dried so i wanted to give it a coat of matt varnish over the top, for a couple of reasons i ended up using a rattle can of humbrol matt acrylic and it had a funny reaction (and i did the king tiger at the same time and didnt get it on that) and when it dried its given a sort of white 'bloom'

only thing i can think of is to give it another wash, maybe a really thin green one, rather than a black one to try tone it down

any one else got any ideas?

It just looks like a good faded effect in the pics mate.
I had a lot of problems with humbrols varnishes in the past to the extent I stopped using all there acrylic range.

a different make of matt varnish has done wonders, just a patch on the front still remains, will try and hide that with something

so tracks on (and they were a pain in the nether regions!) , a few greeblies added, next step is add some more and then some weathering
