Ok, I've had my practise build with painting and weathering techniques with a 1:72 Revell Panther... I feel ready for the 1:35 scale challenge.
I have acquired a 1:35 scale Tiger late version. Before I commence, are there any hiccups with this model or anything I should be aware of? Ie track fitting? I found with the Revell, that I should have mounted the tracks before fitting the upper body to the hull. As I fitted the tracks last, there wasnt much space to get them in properly.

Hello sorry don't know about this kit. But I couldn't help seen you talk about my arch enemy TRACKS!!!!!! I hate them the only tank I haven't had problems with is the dragons t34.sorry about the out burst but I twitch everytime I come to do this part of a model I will leave u alone now sorry......!

Lol! From your outburst, I felt the same when I went to mount the tracks myself on the 1:72 Revell Panther... tedious to say the least. So it doesnt get any easier with the 1:35 scale models? Do you recommend the tracks to be mounted before the upper body is fixed to the lower hull for any model?
Some find tracks easy, some hate them. I'm somewhere in between, practice makes perfect....... hopefully

hello i wont lose it again i promise. right it all depends on the tank you are doing but this is how i do it .i will build and cement the track together i use "PLASTIC MAGIC" with the "PIN FLOW" its amazing stuff it give it time to bend around the sprockets with out it snapping then once that's done i will paint the tracks and the tank and attach before the weathering process that way any mistakes can be hidden by the weathering process its self that's how i do it but its all down to personal choice at the end of the day

Don't talk to me about tracks my fingers look like i have stigmata after doing the 1/16 scale tracks for this king tiger, they have little metal pins which tend to lodge in your flesh but heh hoo we got there in the end.

I have been watching your 1:16 King Tiger build..... looks fairly comprehensive! I am sure it will look brill in the end though!
For track link, I heard from my friend in VN that using PE glue from Micro Scale would help a lot. Using this glue, you just have to glue the full length. Then, when the glue dries, you still can easily bend it along the wheels. Has anybody tried this before?
