External Tachometers for 1/24 Cars

This is a technique I use when i want to add extra instruments (especially tachometers) to my cars. It only takes a few minutes to do, and will cost next to nothing. I use it on street racers and am going to use it on my "big cat" project.
So first of all, you need a piece of sprue, and a smaller one. Glue them together. Then paint the whole thing alluminium, and add a red dot on the smaller piece for a shift up light.

On the bigger one apply a spare tachometer decal (or similar) and your done.

The finished product

Hope this helps
Euan
