lets see your micro heli's ...

Ok i just thought it would be a good idea to share some knowledge and some pics of our micro heli's and some mod or tweaking stuff.
Here is my Honey bee king 2 stock apart from a 3900kv brushless outrunner and 25amp esc also lots of fine tuning. all of this would not of worked without help from others.
If anyone can help me more or if i can help feel free to use the thread

Thanx for your input john
Well to be honest john as an RTF it was dissapointing at first but if they had just changed the name to ARF it would of appealled to even more people than it allready has and not dissapointed so many! it is a great heli i can say , a good base and easy to get flying with little expense , also once you do get it dialed in its such a great flyer,i mean i was a beginner and i took some time before getting this,
but within a few hours of work(after reading a lot of info on the net over a few days)i was getting the swashplate setup, getting the (rate) gyro tuned, tracking and ballancing the blades. I must say i am very impressed! A hard fly with need of lots of input but so much fun, This is what its all about !!!
You cannot get better for the price .....
In the end it was what i needed imho, A low budget (at first) starter heli that i could try 3d flight if ever i fealt the need and had the abillity but that can also be used as aday to day hover and fly machine.

P.S.
I hope you get yours back !!!!!!!!

Ok i hd a little encounter with the ground at a speed i would of liked to be a little softer Anyway its not so bad but ive got some tinkering to do before i fly hehei lost my wings !!!!!!
not so bad a couple of blades to change ( by the way order them by 5 pairs its a lot less stressing knowing you have them) an maybe a bent feathering shaft... oops not to mention a brocken skid.
The feathering shaft i have spares and also for the blades but the skid i will be buying some aluminium tubing so i will let you know how i get on making a pair to replace them as to be light but strong.

Ok i suppose this is my weekly update.
I just upgraded to the Futaba 6EX 2.4 ghz and what a difference it makes!!!
I got the pitch curves and throttle curves allmost sorted and it flies on a string i must say!!! It was a bit hard to setup though as it being my first computerised system but now i actually have time to leave a stick and trim in flight (1 seconds) it is amazing how well you can dial in these little hbk2's with a decent tx and rx. I have to thank my dad for that he swapped me the new radio gear for some rx,tx crystals .
The wife also let me buy some things of the net for valentines so i spent a few euros on 2 1500mah 15c 3cell 11.1v lipo's hehe.
OK Happy Flying
