*** Squiffy, wrap everything up,weigh them and I will take them off your hands, let me know the postage costs and I will pay you with Pay-pal,then I will make a list and start a plans library.

Barry. the link I posted was to a plans library run by our national body, equivalent to the BMFA, or whatever the SMAE became and is affiliated to the FAI The plans are not sold, merely loaned and must be returned. The $5 cost mentioned is to cover the cost of postage etc. Perhaps a second reading of the site is in required?

I am quite aware of the mechanics of the plans service,as many people make their living from plans and I have friends in the industry the last thing that I want to do is to upset anyone, basically a plan is sold on the basis of one model build per plan,I intend to get around this problem with original templates,by doing this we are not breaking any laws, something we must undertake as a responsible forum.

Thumbs up Swaps

hi ...er now whilst I dont dare start acquiring many more plans or copies her - there are some I have spare and would like to swap/trade for those few items I do actually want .............first on my list would be the HP Victor PSS 82" span originally by Jim Strain/nexus.

I have to swap any of these
A 1/6 scale ......Scottish aviation bulldog 65" span,
1/6 Cessns 172, and cutaway poster
1/6 Sopwith triplane 52" span very, very detailed on two huge sheets.

or an aerobat :- Freebird 53" nice clean mid wing on the back theres a Delta pusher Stinger with a prop slot.
Then there's also a Electric Lanc 74", not the Tony N version
All unused as far as I can tell/recall.

A request...probably in the wrong place but..............
I have a part built Goldberg sophisticated lady and plan of which I have had to patch and tape a fair bit -fortunately not on the wing part which hasnt been built and its missing the ribs unfortunately the cut out's were chucked as I stupidly mistook them for a stunter ..golberg punch them out in pairs sharing a commmon underside cut line!!! Dohh! Gentle lady is the same wing can anyone help me with the patterns for ribs.

And theres also the long standing problem of a wing plan for my Cambrian Miri 120" glider another unbuilt car boot rescue.

AirshipsNflyingboats that Victor plan should still be available from the plans service, the master drawings are no longer kept with the plans agents but are stored I believe in Manchester where the prints are made.Write to them quoting the plan reference and they should be able to help,I remember seeing that model on the cover of Aeromodeller.
